Turmeric a boon

Dear ALL,

I came across this interesting article, hope you all will also find it interesting..

Think of any beneficial activity for the body, turmeric has it let it be analgesic, anti inflammatory now anti cancer also.

Popular cancer molecule NF-KB is also targeted by turmeric. Something is there in its stucture and chemistry..

Nature is great..

    Yes, I agree with you Sony. That is why I was quite disappointed when someone that turmeric is bad for Salmonella - hope this is just
    an unpublished rumour!

    Dear Ma'am,

    Thank you for making us aware of when not to take turmeric,

    This study from IISc in 2010 has showed that we should not take turmeric when we have salmonella infection.

    Ya Sony....... Way back in 2002 we attempted to understand curcumin through in-vitro studies ... and now, this wonder molecule is extensive studied... one note i want to mention here is it works on my favorite tubulin as well............ well, you can see series of publications addressing its mechanism of action from Panda's lab
